My dad is one friendly person whose attitude is the same everywhere. Unlike many people whose lifestyle and the way that they interact with people are differently, my dadds state of happiness is the same everywhere that he goes. It is even better when we chat together at home and he gets to share his life with us. He has grown to be my role model considering the advises that I get from him that come in a friendly mood that even those who do not have time for advices would create time just to hear him talk. What I enjoy doing most with him while at home is to learn from his acer laptop. Recently, he taught me how to connect acer to tv and I got it all right when I tried to redo the connection. For all the services and kindness that I get from him, he has been a great source of inspiration to my life. And with his hard work and dedication to our family, I have found no dad as caring as he is. |

Papa will be coming home today and we are all excited. We have not seen him the whole year and really, we have missed him a lot. As his daughter, I wish he does not need to work abroad anymore. I hope he and mom could think of something else to do as a means of living. Perhaps, they could venture into a small business - anything that will allow papa to stay around. Just the other day, I was talking to papa on the phone. He sounded really excited for his trip back home. He asked me to help him look for Uncle Bert, whom he has not seen in ages. Wanting to make papa happy, I exerted all means to find Uncle Bert. I learned that he has moved to another address so I had to do reverse search by phone number. With a little help from my cousin, Leo, I found Uncle Bert's contact details. For sure, papa will be very glad to know that he can now visit Uncle Bert when he comes home. |

I've always been into electronics - ever since I was a kid. Even these days, I work for a circuit board maker, preparing hexagonal spacers for the manufacturing of printed circuit boards.
When I was 8 years old, I got my first Sega Genesis for my birthday. I can't even begin to describe the awesomeness of this day. I had been playing Nintendo for a few years, and loved it, but now I was stepping up. 16-bit graphics were blowing my mind back then. I could play NBA Jam, Sonic, NHL '95 (which is still one of my favorite games of all time), and tons of new titles that took my gaming experiences to the next level. I'm now 25 years old, and gaming has taken a backseat to pretty much everything else in my life. But, I still have my Sega. Occasionally I'll set it up and play some NHL '95 with a friend, typically someone else with a fond memory of the game. My brother has an XBox 360, and I bow to it's incredible everything, but for me, nothing will ever beat that feeling of opening a brand new Sega Genesis. |

Ensuring that cities are well planned is the work of the city planner. These people should have a lot of knowledge on this particular subject because whether the city will come out well eventually, lies entirely on the decisions that they make. One should be in a position to know that one small mistake will make the whole city look bad. Doing this is not easy at all and at times when they are confronted with hard matters and have to make a decision, they may prefer to keep their phones on silent so as not to be disturbed by any call coming in. As a city planner you should ask yourself, whose calling me? Also knowing who called if the numbers are not accompanied by a name is crucial. By going to reverse phone directory you will be able to do this and also make it possible for you to tell the address of the callers. It is important that one does it once and for all by contacting a telecommunications company who will explain to you well on how to go about it. |

These days you can buy waterproof tvs and all sorts, and it's testimony to the fact that we do love watching the TV. In fact, studies indicate that Americans are watching more and more television (in average over three hours a day). But is that necessarily bad? Although many people perceive television to be a waste of time or even harmful, that is not necessarily the case. Depending on one's choice of programs and watching habits, television can be an educational tool and expose one to new knowledge. Watching documentaries can be fascinating and enriching. Watching foreign films and shows from other countries can be an introduction to other societies and cultures. Educational programs for children, such as "Sesame Street", can have great value in teaching pre-academic skills (like counting and colors), as well as values and norms (how to treat a friend). And, alongside educational value, watching television can be an entertaining, enjoyable pursuit. While many television shows are indeed shallow, crude, unnecessarily violent or offensive, many others are entertaining without insulting one's intelligence. |

Whether you deal with hardware or software, things are so much easier today. If it is hardware, then surface mount technology has made it easier to construct bespoke electronic devices. If you're a developer (software), then development tools have made programming much easier. I remember the days as a programmer in the 80s - I was writing in Assembler. It was a list of mnemonics (try saying that 3 times fast) that made little sense to anyone but the programmer himself. These days, there are even programmers who don't write code - they simply pick classes from a library of code to develop a system that's based completely within a framework - not one line of code written! While that's a more extreme version of what's happening today, the typical programmer certainly writes less code - and I think that's a good thing to practise the WORM principle - Write Once Read Many (times) - write code once, use it over and over. |

I am currently staying at a friendds house, where my job is a few blocks away from. I left my kids with my sister and although it is a difficult situation and a lot of adjustments have to be made, I am glad that we are getting used to it and that everything seems in control despite the distance. We regularly talk over the phone and even if I spend several hours talking to my kids, my does not mind. However, I am encountering problems with phone lately. I hardly understand what my kids are saying when my voice is very clear on their end. I have to tell this to my friend although I am worried about what might be her reaction about it. I am the one who frequently uses the phone and I think itts me she has to blame for its malfunction. I will suggest her to contact the phone repairman and I will shoulder the expense. After all, I will benefit from it, as well, seeing that I cannot live a day without hearing my kidss voices. |

I have two teenage boys, very handsome athletic boys who adore me a lot. I remember this one time I was getting threatening calls from a lady accusing me of breaking people's marriages just because I was a single mother and pretty good at it. My sons did not like that at all. So they picked up one of the calls the lady was making and they demanded to know who that was but she hang up. They started working on ways of finding out whose number is this and they did not tire until they found her. This required them to involve the phone company but they did not get any help from them because they refused to give them her address because that would be breaching the privacy policy that protected their customers' privacy. They heard of investigators who could trace a number and even get a home address. When they got enough money to pay them they got the address in forty eight hours and they paid the lady a visit that was not pleasant at all and they refused to apologize for what they told her because she disrespected me. |

Phones are very important devices for many people. When I was in college my phone was my life. It served me both socially and academically. Other students always wondered why my research papers were on point. It was because I used to research earlier than the due date and would use my phone and save all my findings there and then compile them later. This helped a lot because I exhausted all avenues for the material content. This was unlike the other students who used to do their research papers last minute thus never had the time to research everywhere. One of my classmates got a hold of my phone one day and saw all my research files there. We were given a serious research paper that was stressing people out but not me. My phone got stolen and I knew if I did not report the matter immediately my work would be duplicated. So I called the samsung phones help line so that they can turn on the tracker that they had installed on the phone. The college authority was given the location of my stolen phone and the perpetrators were faced the consequences of their actions. |

Sustainable energy sources - from ground source heat pumps to solar to wind - it's the future whether established fossil fuel companies like it or not.
As for my own property, my house has ceiling heating. “WHAT?!”, I hear you cry – “…but heat rises!” Yes it does, and this was my exact reaction when I bought the house, but this was a strange idea conceived by house builders in the UK in the mid 1970s, who seemed to have forgotten primary school physics. By the 1980s, the practise appears to have been forgotten about in housing developments. I would like to have under-floor heating throughout the house, powered by solar panels on the roof. This is an expensive installation in the short term, but I have worked out that it would pay for itself within around 5 years. The idea is that water, heated by solar power, would be pumped around tubing beneath the floorboards. This would give equal heating throughout the house controlled by thermostats. Under-floor heating is the cosiest heating type for those with no carpets, especially during a harsh winter. Another great advantage is the fact that one does not have any fixed radiators on the wall, which makes more space for furniture. Solar powered under-floor heating is the way forward. |

Buying a particular model of a touch screen phone because you have a gut feeling about it can be risky and may turn out to be a worthless investment for you. Some people think that the more expensive an item is, the more reliable and high quality it is, and in the same token, the cheapest ones are those with the least quality. While price may indeed be an indicator of quality, it is not always the case. Before you buy one, it is best that you consult touch screen phone reviews that will give you a comparative presentation of the most popular touch screen phones that have appeared in the market for the past months or so.
This is an important step that you should not forego because these reviews are excellent sources of information about cell phones. You just need to be careful though that the touch screen phone reviews you read are objective and are not influenced by a particular manufacturer. They will make their own recommendations but it is still up to you to decide. |

My aunt, who is an old maid, just came home from a 15 day vacation at Spain and Europe. It has been a yearly practice for her to go to other countries and enjoy a vacation with her close friends. When she came home, I was surprised that she brought with her a new apple tv and itouch. She is not really a techy kind of person and it was a surprise for us when she got one for herself. The first question she asked me was, how to connect apple tv to computer. Our first reaction, aside from being surprised, it was just not a practical thing to buy. It was way to expensive and we know for sure that she will not be giving so much time on watching shows on it. She is a very busy person and she barely goes home early to even enjoy watching tv. Funny to think that aside from the reason she just wanted to buy it for herself we are given the chance to enjoy it while she's not around. |

I prosper through being careful with my money. I ensured I use the cheapest energy suppliers for our house via a search engine search for cheapest energy supplier Manchester - and save considerably on gas and electricity now.
But there are other ways to save too. For example, I enjoy reading. In fact, it is one of my favorite hobbies. Ever since I learned to read I’ve carried a book with me where ever I go. I’ve read hundreds of books throughout my life. The one money saving tip I have learned over the years is to buy used books, borrow books from the library, and resell your used books on the internet or at garage sales. Unless you love a certain book, what are the chances that you are actually going to read it again? So why spend a lot of money on an expensive brand new book from the bookstore? The local library always has tons of books from authors you may not know about and sometimes they even sell off their older books to make room for new ones. By sharing books with friends and reselling old books you can save as much as twenty dollars per book! That is an incredible savings. I love to read, and if I didn’t use this money saving tip, I would be spending a fortune on books. |
