My Fashion Staple: Black Leather Ankle Boots

My wardrobe consists of the most eclectic pieces, from floral tunics to pink tote bags. But of all of the pieces I own, my most used fashion staple would have to be my gorgeous black ankle boots. These shoes are so versatile, and can be paired with anything from a sweet dress, to a dressed down look like a simple tank and jeans. My favorite type of ankle boots is round toed, with a thin heel. Because these shoes are my staple, they have to be very comfortable to walk, so I usually opt for a low heel (2 – 3 inches) with a cushioned toe. These boots range from all price ranges, from $10 - $150 for more intricate models of shoes. If you are younger, and just searching for an everyday shoe, I would probably incline towards the inexpensive boot. However, if you are looking for a classier ankle boot to use on special occasions, you would be better off getting a long lasting more expensive boot. My personal favorite boots are the Via Spiga Jovi Booties in black napa leather. They are oh so soft and fit my feet perfectly.
