If you know anything about me, you know I find it utterly painful to be cooped up indoors on a beautiful day. I am a fanatic for the outdoors, and I absolutely love basking in the sunlight of a warm summer day and breathing in the crisp, fresh air. I also love buying outdoor clothing, like the laksen ladies jacket I'm regularly seen in. When summer rolls around, I love to partake in a variety of different outdoor activities. It's not uncommon for me and my friends to pack up our backpacks and spend a day hiking trails in a forest. Not only is it great exercise, but it's a really peaceful, exhilarating experience. If we're not hiking, you can usually find us by a lake or stream during fishing season with our fishing rods in the water. Fishing is a great way to not only spend time outdoors, but bond with your fellow fisherman in a calming, serene setting. To be quite honest, give me and opportunity to partake in almost any outdoor activity, and I'm more than likely on board. Whether it be hiking, fishing, cycling, swimming, or any sport played outdoors, I just feel at home when I feel a breeze on my neck and sun on my face. |

Every one in the world desires to look good. Different fashion wears including dresses, hair accessories, jewelry and shoes are put on to present a smart outlook of the personality. Though, lot many things attract me, but jewelry is really heart touching. Since my childhood, I like to wear items made up of precious stones. My Jewelry Box offers the most gorgeous and breathtaking engagement rings and wedding rings, in a range of carat weights, perfect for that moment. In every party, I wear these jewelry items matching with the dress thus attracting all. Earrings and pendants made up of gems and stones are also available with me in number of styles. I like to purchase the jewelry on every trip I go to USA from Amazon stores. Variety of items and latest styles are always available as per my choice. I believe that ladies must wear some kind of jewelry on all outdoor parties to look smart and attractive. |

It's tough buying gifts for family and friends. For one, it's bad enough knowing what they want, but worst of all - you see all those cliche gifts in the high street - the book vouchers, the socks, the box of chocolates, the popular DVDs - you buy those and you feel like a sell-out - like you haven't tried. So for me, I like to MAKE my gifts - I make jewellery items using my jewellery making supplies. That works for my female friends / family members - for the blokes I like to print them various t-shirt designs - they seem to love those, and in fact, expect and look forward to some new t-shirts each year - it's become my speciality! So use your imagination when it comes to gifts - even if it means making them with your very own hands! Avoid the usual gift ideas. |

I love my fashion brands - from He Loved an Angel to Coach to Chanel. As to my favourite fashion item though? You might be surprised by what you're about to hear.
It was originally $89 for fall and I bought it for $2 in the spring on clearance! People never believe me when I tell them. It was purchased at a well-known retail store and not at a thrift store. You never know what you can find through clearance racks. It’s great to buy weather themed clothes in their opposite season. It’s a beautiful navy blue peacoat with a flowered print inside. Every winter I’m excited to pull it out of the closet and give it life again. I always feel like a stylish, blue teddy bear in it. Peacoats never go out of style. They’re classically fashionable. Peacoats attract both the young and old, male and female. They’re easy to care for too. Peacoats are appropriate for every occasion they’re causal and professional. Plus, they always keep you warm. You can never go wrong with a peacoat during the winter. |

I love the ambiance of the Civil War Era in the South. Gone With the Wind, is a favorite of mine, not because it was factual, but because of the dress, accent, style, and sometimes carefree attitudes. I love the sophisticated Southern Belle dress and hat, and would love (at a fancy dress party) to put on an air of arrogance. I want to show my personality in a gigantic hoop skirt and large hat that ties with ribbon. I want all eyes upon me as I take up the entire room swooshing my skirt to greet people - surely the best womens fancy dress costumes a lady could wear! I would be transformed to the pre-war time where carefree living was abundant. My royal blue and white skirt with dainty pink embroidered roses would be the envy of all, and the way in which I held my head high so that I could see in spite of the brim of my gorgeous hat, would exude confidence and pride. |

My handbag is probably the most simple and plain bag I own, but it is still my favorite! I have gone through many bags, purses, clutch bags and backpack purses, name brand or not, but this one still comes out on top. It isn’t a name brand bag by any means, just one I saw and had to have. To describe it best, it is just a plain black leather hobo-style bag. It isn’t bedazzled or sparkly, just plain black leather. My bag is not only my purse, but doubles as my emergency cabinet. It is big enough that I can not only store my wallet, phone and keys inside, I also tote around the bills I need to pay, repair kits, aspirin, brushes, etc. Less to say, I carry a lot of items with me. My husband calls it the ‘Mary Poppin’s Bag’ because if someone needs something, I always have it! An interesting story involving my 'bag of wonders' is when I was at the mall Christmas shopping last year. I had stopped to use the ladies room and there was a woman fussing with her top. Apparently, a button had fallen off and she had nothing to do a quick repair with. Hobo-bag to the rescue! I gave her a few safety pins to help her close the gap on her top so she wouldn't be showing more than she wished to. Oh my was she grateful! If I had taken any of my other, smaller, bags, I would definitely not have had the safety pins with me. More than once my handbag has saved me from walking around with an open blouse, runny nose or migraine headache. That is why it is my favorite. It may be a huge bag, filled to the brim, but it is my handbag, my purse AND my emergency cabinet. |

Clothing manufacturers have experimented with materials ever since we've worn clothes. From animals furs and skins to lace to latex, we've experimented with just about every material known to man be it man-made or natural. Lace is my favourite material just for its sheen and touch, and it's lasted the test of time and clearly is one of the most popular clothing materials that's as popular today as it has ever been. Having said that, you need to find the materials that suit you, and the ones you feel comfortable in. That can often depend on the situation too, and what you're doing. Breathable fabrics are fantastic for sporting activities, or even just to go shopping on a hot day. Some people get obsessed about one particular fabric and buy clothing only in that material - well, that's up to them, but for me, I like to buy a range of materials. |

I just love pashmina scarves - they're so very versatile. If the weather's too cold, I wrap one around my neck and I'm warm. If the sun comes out, and it warms up, I can fold the pashmina away into my small purse - no problem. I can also use the pashmina as a kind of sarong, or even a belt. The more I wear pashminas, the more uses I realise they have in terms of fashion and practicalities like keeping warm. I always buy neutral coloured pashminas like white, black, silver, gold or grey. They go with any other colour so they'll never clash with your jacket, jumper or coat. They're great for special occasions too, like weddings and outdoor parties - when you simply don't know what the weather's going to be like - they give you extra options to keep warm without lugging a big coat around with you! |

My favorite handbag is my Coach signature bag. It is amazing. The bag is large enough to hold all of my items. I usually carry my wallet , lipstick, an organizer and several other items. Many handbags are too small to accommodate everything that I like to carry - I once had a red evening bag that I only carried once since it was so impractical! My coach bag is multi colored so it is perfect for just about any outfit. The bag is wonderful for work. The colors are light and fun and make it the ideal spring and summer bag. I can easily make it work with clothes during the day or at night. I particularly like this bag , because it is unique. I have seen very few people with it. It attracts attention almost immediately when I carry it. People always ask where and when I got it. It is a great handbag that I will never part with. Recently in the shoe store a woman ran up and asked me where I got the bag. She was buying a pair of shoes and thought it would match perfectly. |

If I had the money to spare, I would love to fill my closet with shoes - from Hotter shoes (my feet swell terribly in the summer) to high heels to pumps. I like to tell myself I will start a collection someday, but I doubt it will happen. Most classic high tops are great looking during the winter when you where them with a pair of jeans. Nike, Adidas, and Jordan's are among the best for winter-wear. I know lots of people who like Supra, but I'm not too much of a fan. During the summer those aren't the best thing for your feet because of how hot it gets and plus they aren't in style. Sanuk's are the best things ever. They are super comfortable and convenient. Reef sandals are cool looking as are Kai Kai, but for me personally nobody can top Sanuk. Once you got your shoes squared away it is great to get a nice hat that matches them or some other article of clothing you wear. It doesn't always have to match though, it can just look well with it. New era flat brims are awesome as well as trucker hats. Don't just get MLB stuff though, there's lots of cool stuff out there. You can't always look for it though, sometimes you just chance upon it. |

Although I’ve attended a number of weddings, there’s only one that really stands out for me – my own. The reason my own wedding stands out is that it was simple. Simply perfect and perfectly simple. You hear horror stories of women spending months or even years planning the perfect wedding, and when the big day finally comes, the least little thing that goes wrong seems like a disaster - maybe the wedding tiara slips off her head, or the cake tastes a bit off. God forbid something major should go wrong – like the photographer not showing up. The whole day would be ruined! My plain, simple wedding was planned in one day. All arrangements were made within a month. Instead of a large church, I was wed in a small chapel. Only close family members, relatives and friends were invited – no long lost great-aunts or fourth cousins removed who would buy me a blender or a toaster oven and forget about me the next day. By borrowing a wedding dress from my sister-in-law, I killed two birds with one stone –now I only needed something blue, something old and something new. My wedding ring, a simple gold band, was an heirloom passed down from my great-grandmother. A family member videotaped the ceremony while another took photographs. The reception was in my parents’ finished basement and was catered by one of my mother’s co-workers, who did it as a side job. Living in Buffalo, New York, just a stone’s throw from one of the world’s greatest wonders, where else to honeymoon but Niagara Falls? The whole deal probably cost, at most, one tenth of what the typical bridal party spends on a wedding. Best of all, everyone who attended had a fantastic time. None of the romance or sentimentality was lost, just the extra perks that can make your wedding day dream turn into a nightmare. |

When I see visit my grand-daughter, I can't help but think that she is a lot more sophisticated than me when I was her age. She has her own computer, she's very discerning with her fashion (she keeps going on about her Oilily bags to me!) too.
I was raised during the depression, and believe me there were few toys and games, and they only appeared at Christmas. What we got was wonderful and it lasted a long time. Usually the toys were from the dime store and there was the usual coloring book, crayons, and a doll. Sometimes we got a game, but not often. But the gift I recall as the most fun and lasted the longest was a game called "Pick Up Sticks". We could play this game for hours. Let me tell you how it was played. There were about 41 very slender sticks in a can. There were 10 yellow, 10 orange, 10 blue, 10 red and 1 purple one. Each color had a different value, your job to get the best score. How to play, take all of the sticks in your hand, tap them till they were even, hold them about five inches from the table and let them go. When landed they were all in a pile. You would then pick up all sticks that were not connected or laying on each other. Then using one of the sticks you would try and lift from the pile without making it collapse. When you did cause the pile to move, you counted the colored sticks and got your score, and the play moved to the next person. This went around until all the sticks were gone, you added your score, and hoped you won. By the way if you got the purple stick you were almost a sure winner. |

The freshwater pearls unlike the ocean pearls come with more variety of colors and shapes. Because the freshwater pearl comes from mussels, and oysters, that live in lakes, rivers, they are very small in size. With years of experiments, Japan began to cultivate the pearls with mussels. This enriched the colors and the size of the pearl, giving them the most beautiful freshwater pearls in the world. That's why you'll hear people say they are cultured pearls.
To find a natural freshwater pearl on your own is very rare, but it could happen. Most freshwater pearls are pinks, peach, and lavender colors with flecks of gold or brown. And the most unique feature of a freshwater pearl is the shapes, they can be flat and round to the shape of a half moon. That's the beauty of them, they are so natural and no two will ever be the same. |

The best pair of shoes that I own, I've had for years now. They have been with me through everything. When I first got my blue and green polka dot Vans, it was love at first site. I slipped them on and it was over, I was never going to wear another pair of shoes again.
Don't get me wrong - I love all kinds of shoes, as my wardrobe will testify too - from gladiator sandals to high heels.
However, those Vans really got my attention. All through high school I wore them. It was during that time that I began to write on them. Then my friends drew some birds on the tops. My senior year was when the shoes received the holes on the tops from where my big toe had pushed through. Over time the holes became larger and during the rain the shoes caused my feet to get soaked. Just recently the received some top notch burns thanks to the sun and a pair of glasses. Thought the fabric is ripping and the soles have been very worn down, I’ll be hard pressed to find another pair of shoes as great as my Vans. |

My wardrobe consists of the most eclectic pieces, from floral tunics to pink tote bags. But of all of the pieces I own, my most used fashion staple would have to be my gorgeous black ankle boots. These shoes are so versatile, and can be paired with anything from a sweet dress, to a dressed down look like a simple tank and jeans. My favorite type of ankle boots is round toed, with a thin heel. Because these shoes are my staple, they have to be very comfortable to walk, so I usually opt for a low heel (2 – 3 inches) with a cushioned toe. These boots range from all price ranges, from $10 - $150 for more intricate models of shoes. If you are younger, and just searching for an everyday shoe, I would probably incline towards the inexpensive boot. However, if you are looking for a classier ankle boot to use on special occasions, you would be better off getting a long lasting more expensive boot. My personal favorite boots are the Via Spiga Jovi Booties in black napa leather. They are oh so soft and fit my feet perfectly. |
